After my producers and supervisors saw my work on the Whitman video, they were so pleased that they put it on the home page viewer. They later asked if I could make a new video using an interview with Richard Laermer. They wanted me to do what I did to the Whitman video, and make an animation as an opening.
I worked the whole week on the video, due to problems such as not enough computers, and several training classes I was supposed to attend.
I made a nice 10 second intro, and quickly learned how quick a producer could shoot down your excitement. He saw it and said, "Could you make it about 2-3 seconds?" It was an important lesson to learn, apparently. The other employees said that happens all the time. It takes 3 hours to make it, and one second to shoot it down. Regardless, here is the final product, intro and all:
